I just put on a 3' lift from Rusty's on Sat. Looks FANTASTIC, but makes a thumping noise from the rear when I drove it down the street.

I think it's due to the drive shaft angle, but I' not sure. I'll be calling Rusty to order the transfer case drop kit. I have also read that maybe I will need shims (3-6 degrees) to clear it up.

Anybody had this problem?

I'm hoping that the transfer case drop kit will clear it up.[addsig]

did that kit come with rear springs or blocks?

Shocks?

Any of those items too tight?did you tighten them with the rear suspension in the air or was it resting on the ground?

when does it thump? hitting bumps or driving on a smooth surface?

The Rusty's kit came with front springs, shocks, and AAL. I tightened them in the air, wheels off. It thumps on level ground. I don't know if I tightened anything too tightly or not. I did the rear last and it was on the tail end of a 99 degree, 8 hour day. I didn't finish until midnight.

I did notice that the drive shaft angle is a little more than I would have cared to see. The rear has not settled yet and it appears to be higher than 3" of lift.
