I bought a lock right off of ebay. The guy mailed it to me already in the diferential case or whatever you call the thing that slides in. Is it esier to take the locker out of that case and put it in mine or swap the whole thing. As I understand your supposed to just pull the c clips and slide it in He didnt give me install instructions so I am kind of confused. THanks

Somebody should be able to help you with dirtrections, either scanned and emailed or in .pdf format.
It'll be much easier to remove it from another carrier and install it in yours.
