I've been trying to post a pic in the reader's rides and on the trail section for what seems like a year now and I keep getting "Sorry, but due to the large amount of reader submissions that have been received, I've been forced to temporarily disable the upload section until I can get caught up." Half of the pictures on there belong to people I never see here. Does anyone manage this site anymore or does anyone know anything about when they'll be caught up? Just as a suggestion for the pictures, mabye they should be deleted and refreshed every few months or even 6 months or something like that. Or mabye you should have to have a certain amount of posts before you can post a picture...this way it isn't posted by someone who signs up to this site just to post a picture and never to be heard from again.

My buddy Terry runs the site though hasn't been very hands on for a while. He is in the middle of a YJ/CJ coversion in his garage. He's around though. Checks in once in a while. I know hes been out on his new boat all summer so maybe well hear from him more this Fall.

Jeepin916, Your picture isn't working because you have entered an invalid web address. The address cannot point to your computer's hard drive (as it is now), because nobody would be able to see it unless you were online.
You must upload your picture to an online web server. You can try http://www.sonyimagestation.com for free image hosting.
Hope that helps

Definately. An avatar that large makes it hard to read the post's content. There should be a limit where avatars must be 80x80 pixels or less, but I guess it isn't working anymore
