whenever my suspension flexes more than an inch or so, i hear a loud clunk that sounds like it is coming from the front. the jeep steers ok,so i dont think it is a ball joint. i grease aall the joints i can find every other oil change and it dont seem to help. what is this? is there any checks i can do to find the problem? please help.

Sounds like a worn out control arm bushing or track bar. How many miles on the Jeep? What type of lift and how many miles on the lift?

i just looked at the bushings, and they look to be fine. i can see on one of them, it looks like the sleeve on one in the back has slid and went back into place. i dont know if i am looking at the right stuff or not. i tried to duplicate it by jacking each corner and flex the suspension, but it didnt work. i have to pull it on a lift and really get under there to look around.
