my clutch is linking some fluid from the clucth housing,does anyone have an idea of what this might be.its an 89 jeep wrangler 2.5 litter

Sounds like your clutch slave is going out, probably on time for a Jeep that old. You'll have to drop the transmission to replace it, and may as well install a new clutch while you're in there.
