My brother is a susension eng. for Jeep up here in D-town. He called me the other night and said he got an e-mail offering him a chance to lease a 2004 extended Wrangler. What gernerally happends is DM gives new autos to employees to get feedback and such berfore they become avilible to the public. Here is what I found out so far.... The wheelbase is 10'' longer with an additional 5'' overhang, everything else seems to be the same as a regular Wrangler. He got the 4.0l, 3.73 with dana 44 rear end air, tilt, cruz, hardtop, and a cd changer. No sticker price avl. but from the lease payment it seems to be about 27 or 28 thou. Just thought you all might like the advanced info. He'll be getting it in Jan or Feb. Oh yea the Scrambler is a definite go for production next year. I dont have any details on that as of yet.
