Doing the slip yoke eliminator real soon and getting rid of the transfer case drop. Anyone make their own crossmember? I want to tuck everything up between the frames. What type of material should I use to construct one?

Built mine out of 2" x 4" channel with a 1/4" wall 2" x 2" spacer. Hangs down about the same as the shackles. Have not had a problem with it yet. If you were to tuck the tranny case and engin up inside the fram a bit and use a body lift should be able to do away with the 2" drop all togather. Plan to add a skid pan a little later if I keep the ol beast. tug

this is one angle from the side looking across!

From the end!

And one more!

Hope this is some help. It works real well for me and it is one strong puppy.
