a cadilliac v8 in an old xj, my dad works for cadilliac and theres a tone of late 80s early 90s caddys in the salvage yard by my house. im lookin at thos one seriously.

This guy started with a V6... Don't know what engine you have, or how the tranny/tcase would compare between a V6, I6, and I4 model.

if you have a XJ witha 60* v-6 (2.8 ) i say go for it... another engine that fits is a 3.4 (not 4.3) out of a camaro... but a caddy would me mucho cooler

the funny thing is that there is a 1990 cadilliac eldorado in my driveway 60* 4.5 fuel injected. but i have the i-4. but i wouldnt mind swapping out my 4 speed for a 5speed so i could grab all the parts i needed off of a cherokee with the v6. the 3.4 out of the camaro is nice cause the engine mounts dont even have to be changed.
