Ive heard many rumors about the 207 case like, you dont need a SYE kit, you have to swap em out anyways cause they suck, and numerous others.
how does the 207 compare to the more popular 231 and do i need a SYE kit if so at how many inches of lift, are there extended yokes available for the 207, and is the case worth keeping?

NP207 transfer case, slip yoke eliminator?

i assume you have an 87 YJ or some type of XJ?
they arent great, but unless you beat it hard i wouldnt worry about it at this point. i have no idea about the slip yoke, but i would guess they have one.

It's not geared as low as the NP231. I don't know about the availability of SYE's.

It can be swapped for a 231 that came from behind an AX-5 I think.

I might be wrong about all of this.....so check behind me.

The 207 had a 21 spline input
The 231 behind an AX-5 or Peugeot also takes a 21 spline input
The 231 behind an AX-15 or an automatic takes a 23 spline input.
They all had the same mounting pattern

I THINK :?
