Hey guys, was wondering why I am gettin so bad gas mileage. I have a 95 Cherokee

Country 4 dr 4x4, 4 L , auto, 97,000 kms. I am getting 23 on the highway(canadian figures). Before this one I had a 92 Sport and it would get 27,28 on the highway. same gears too...3.55

I have done the following-

Spark Plugs...wires i think are fine

Cap& Rotor

Fuel filter

Air filter

Oxygen sensor

Engine, tranny, transfer case, axle fluid have all been changed

I have put the same tires on this one, 30's. Same exhaust, Dynomax turbo cat back.

I have thought of thet cat being plugged but that usually means no power, I had that prob with my 92, felt like it had 100 hp [addsig]

Don't know what the norm is for those, but you may try buying something like a Jacobs ignition system, they are supposed to qoute you garanteed milage increases or money back[addsig]
