We traded in our worn-out Rodeo last week and drove home in a nice 2001 XJ Sport.

I found out it's the last year of the XJ. Is there anything else I should know about it. I DO know it's got WAY more power than my 2.5L TJ!

The wife says no lifts for it, but I'm still working on her... [addsig]

Nah, she's keeping an eye on me. I already told her I was thinking about swapping engines with my TJ. It's only got the 2.5L! [addsig]

Watch out for that wiring harness if you swap that engine in. It's different for an XJ than for a TJ! I heard a guy that did it and was successful but ended up saying he wished he had'nt gone that route. Also, the trannies may be different (are they both standards or automatics, both were different from the 2.5l and 4.0l engines). And don't forget about the new exhaust systems you'll have to buy.
