Dumb Question

The insurance papers for my '97 ZJ say it is a "TSI". What does TSI stand for?
Best,
Mike

Re: Dumb Question

its a model like "laredo" or "limited" or "orvis." TSIs are easily identifiable by the blue/purple pin-stripe down the side.

Re: Dumb Question

Mine is a '97 Laredo, it has the purple pinstripe. Is the "TSI" a seperate model, or does it mean aditional equipment on a standard model?
I thought it was a standard Laredo until the Ins. Co ran the VIN.
Best,
Mike

Re: Dumb Question

TSI is basically a cosmetic package. there might have been a few mechanical things different, but nothing major. TSI would be like an orvis edition grand, or an eddie bauer edition explorer.
