I Was Hoping Someone Could Tell Me The Horse Power Rating For A 4.0 Inline Six. It Is In My 89 Cherokee? Just Got It And Tying To Learn About It Some..thanks..marty:?

I think it's somewhere around 178 hp for an '89

The 1989 4.0L in the XJ's were rated at 173 hp with 220 ft-lbs of torque. 9.2:1 compression ratio.
