No Spark Yet Power To Coil...???

I just bought a 95 XJ 4.0,it ran great for about a week and then i went to start it one night and absolutely nothing,ive chacked evryu single fuse in both boxes..ive dc'd the batt for hours in attemp to reset SOMTHING...ok so then i hook and inductive analizer to my coil wire and i get NO SPARK,even tho i have positive 12 volts to my coil..now there is TWO wires going to the coil clip...how exactly do these work and coudl this be cuaseing my prob?cuz ya im at the end of my patience haha and bout to resort to a dealer visit..please help

Generally a bad CPS (Crank pos. sensor).

	Crank position sensor A crank sensor is a component used in an internal combustion engine to monitor the position or rotational speed of the crankshaft. This information is used by engine management systems to control ignition system timing and other engine parameters. Before electronic crank sensors were available, the distributor would have to be manually adjusted to a timing mark on the engine.
