How do you move an axle?
Ok I bought a jeep and the thing has had multiple problems with it and I'm trying to get all the kinks worked out. It goes into speed wobbles around 50mph so I plan on getting polyurithane bushings (since one on the front is blown) and an alignment. My buddy and I got underneath and looked and realized the the front axle is shifted to the driverside about an inch or so. Does anyone have any idea what could cause that? We are going to see if the control arms are bent but is there any other options that could be happening? Thanks

Re: How do you move an axle?
Check the track bar, it locates the axle side to side. Replace the control arm bushings with oem torsion rubber replacements.

If jeep is lifted that would also pull the axle to the drivers side.
An adjusted track bar or relocation bracket is need to fix.

Re: How do you move an axle?
Im suprised you don't have a bump steer issue if the track bar is the case.
