Intermittent stumble accelerating after stop

New guy here. I have a 88 Cherokee 4.0 automatic. Recently it was in the shop because it was backfiring and would not idle right and would stumble real bad upon acceleration at any speed. Shop said fuel pump and replaced it. Ssince then it still had an intermittent stumble when starting out from a stop or accelerating from a turn. After 2 months the fuel pump started to make a loud whine and cutting out really bad again so I took it back to shop and they said it was a defective fuel pump, replaced it free no labor. Have it back now but still maybe once a day it will stumble from a stop or turn. Also seems like it has a slight miss at idle. I have replaced plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, and crank sensor. Any new ideas? Someone said maybe ignition coil but have not replaced that yet.
