94 xj...slow wipers

anyone else have issues with the wipers being super slow and one speed? What is the fix for it?

Is it that you dont' have a high speed, or are they just creeping across your windshield?

I would think it's either a wiper motor or a switch problem. I'd try the switch first though (since you only have one speed).

well today it rained and the wipers worked when wet. i guess there's drag on the motor when its dry. Its still not that fast. My delay doesnt work either.

if its fine when its wet then it sound like the spindle or the motor rather than the switch assembly, altough the no delay points to the switch being faulty
