Hi new 2 the site hope some1 can help me.
Q: where is the main computer and what dose it look like?????????
i think its the black box on the left finder but not sure,
95 cherokee wont start and ive been through everything and cant get this thing running.
things ive checked: fire from the coil 2 the cap/ from cap 2 plug (screwdriver test) had spark.
new cap, wires, plugs
cps is good
checked power 2 injectors
feul rail is under pressure but havent tested psi i know it needs 2 b 40psi but i dont have a feul pressure tester

Computer in the engine compartment of a Cherokee sits right between the AIR CLEANER BOX, and the DRIVERS SIDE of the engine compartment... It's a black box with cooling fins, and several wire harnesses plugging into it on the top... I have a 2000, but it's in the same place, the aforementioned wire harnesses are seen in the bottom of this picture.



Wish I could give you more insight on the starting problem, but where I am lacking, there are many people here who can help... Welcome to Jeepz. :)

well i tried a computer from a 91 but didnt work, mines a 95 so not sure if they or compatible.
so how can i find out what is compatible?
any suggestions on what 2 try next????
i got a old 1 out of a 91 junker so it may b bad how can i check it ???
