trany issue need opinions

Hi to all

I have noticed i very hard kick when dwon shifting from 2nd-->1st whe at low speed like when in heavy traffic, to confirm it I drove around at very slow speed les than 15mph in drive and in 2nd . i need some opnions before tacking to the shop, a friend told me I shoul add some trany fluid additive i did the oil change and it did not fixed it.

hevent tried the extra aditive wich kind is good for a
98 grand cherokee laredo (quadratrack T-case)

Try dropping the transmission pan and emptyin out all the fluid then replace the trans filter and gasket and add new fluid and get a can of the Seafoam Trans Tune and add with the fluid. Lot of times filter just gets clogged up and changing it usually fixes the problem. Just pop the old filter out make sure the old gasket (o-ring) that goes around the filter comes out with the old one or the new one won't go in right.
