Re: throttle bodys

Hesco Inc. - High Performance Engine Service can machine your stock TB, or sell you the parts to convert to a '91+ throttle body. If you convert, I offer 62mm TB's and spacers for '91-'04 for cheap.

Re: throttle bodys

You would need the kit to convert to the newer style TB, no junkyard parts out there.

I would contact Hesco or check out Hesco's forum to see if your stock TB can be bored out to 62mm. If it can be, it probably would be better to have it bored than to swap to the newer style TB.

Re: throttle bodys

You want more power? Just swap in HO injectors (you'll be able to watch the gas gauge go down though!) With some adjustments you can do the HO intake as well (up til '95) with the whole injector set. You'll have to deal with the EGR pipe, dremeling the manifolds to fit and not suck air by the gasket and some home made washers for the studs (offset) Then the TPS needs to be hooked up. Haven't done it myself. This is from memory.

Re: throttle bodys

Yes! 8^) I've done it with '95 injectors (I think newer are different connectors)
