I'm on the hunt for a '88-'91 Jeep Cherokee.

What is the diff between Lorado, Limited.

Should it have the reg 4.0L or the 4.0L HO?

Should I look for 2x4 or 4x4? Tranny has to Auto (I Can't Stick)

What is the diff between Lorado, Limited.
-->lorado (sp?) is the power options, no leather... limited is the top level, has leather and all the power options.
Should it have the reg 4.0L or the 4.0L HO?
-->up to and including '91 cherokees had the 4.0L, the 92 up's had the 4.0 HIGH OUTPUT motors which produce about 15 extra horsepower.

-->what good is a 2wd jeep? i'd smack myself if mine was 2wd. you'll be hard pressed to even find a manual tranny'd cherokee, but you can always learn the clutch. [addsig]

I think I did good in finding a 91 Cherokee Laredo. I don't know if the rear hatch was replaced at some piont in time, cuz it has 4.0Liter High Output on it. How can I tell the diff between HO and NORM 4.0L?
