There have been 2.5L I4 diesels available on ebay, even in turbo form. Really sweet for a CJ or YJ, torque monsters in a small package.[addsig]

0-60 is 12 sec, but 20 mpg city and 33 mpg highway.

Speaking as an old truck driver the thought of a Desil in a Jeep would be a wonderful thing. Low RPMs and High Torque what a combo for the offraod world. a fifth Wheel Reciver, Air Breaks, Stainless belly tanks and Smoke Stackes are to much to wish for huhhhh! tug[addsig]
