hey my check engine light just came on and i have 83,xxx miles on her so i dont think that its like an 80K check up or something, i know at some point someone posted a list of the self diagnostic test codes(turn the ignition on and off like 5 times then it'll flash out certain codes) does anyone have this list? if so PM me, email me, maxwarpone@yahoo.com, or just post it here. thanks ~ max

Your Jeep is equipped with an OBD-II compliant computer system. Most Autozones and other auto parts stores will scan for codes on OBD-II systems for free.
The codes you'll get from a scanner will be more helpful than codes from the dash code reader.

With the key off, it's:
Run (not start), off, run, off, run, off. Count the purty flashes and see what you get. May be something easily diagnosed at home.
