I am looking for a new soft top for my jeep.(My old one has holes and a few slits. It's an 82 CJ7 with full hard doors. What my question is, what is the difference between the YJ soft top and the CJ soft top?Why do so many CJ owners put YJ soft tops on their CJ's?Should I get a YJ soft top for my CJ?

With the full hard doors you'll need a YJ Supertop. For that matter might as well get a CJ Supertop.

The CJ7 and the YJ use the same tub. A Supertop is the way to go. It comes with everything. I had just put one on my YJ right before I sold it and it was a really nice top. It will work with your hard doors. You can get a set of the full 2 pc soft doors with it if you want (Much cheaper to buy with the top than separately).
