'81 CJ5 engine miss

"81 CJ5, 258 CI, 4 spd., runs smooth until engine partly warmed up then develops a 'miss'. Very noticable under 'load' conditions. Plugs, wires and cap replaced, no improvement. Previous owner(s) had disconnected all pollution controls. can't find a vacuum leak anywhere...help? [img]modules/phpBB_14/images/smiles/icon_confused.gif[/img] [addsig]

i don't have the answer but i must say i have the same problem... also renewed my bougies and wires but it did not work.

i don't think it's a carberator-problem but how about the ignition coil..
