Having some timing problems and cant find my Chilton’s manual. Does anyone know which is the number one cylinder on an AMC 304 V8 and what the firing order is????

The firing order is cast on the manifold right in front of the carb. 18436572. The number one plug is the driver's side front closest to the power steering pump if you have one. At TDC the rotor will be pointing at the #1 piston.

at TDC, the rotor can be at the #1 or 180 degrees out
