Blowing switches, fuses

a few weeks ago i noticed that the wipers were kinda "jerky" if i used them when there wasnt alot of water on the windshield. this morning when i turned the wipers on and then turned them off, the wipers just stopped in the middle of the windshield. they didnt cycle back to the beginning. i tried them a few more times with the same results. whats the deal and how hard is it to fix whatever needs to be fixed.

?? interesting. Mine do that too sometimes, but I think it might have to do with the intermidiat wipers, instead of there being a on and off, there is a resistor that sets the cycle, perhaps it is wearing out.

i dunno

sounds like it could be a bad multi function switch.

check your wires going into the wiper motor - i had that prob w/the rear on my old 91's hardtop - it wouldnt return to its "prone" position and when i checked it there was a wire that came loose that powered it back when the switch was turned off... just a shot - hope it helps!
