Transfercase rattle on a 99 TJ

I have an auto 98 TJ .. it also rattles, thumps (cant pin-point the noise yet) .. sounds like it is somewhere in the A/C ducts comming through the firewall... it only rattles when in stopped in gear like sitting at a light... does not do it in PARK ... could this noise be the transfer case rattling?
I would buy this kit if I knew it would fix it....

It rattled before the 4 " lift..
