Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Jeep isn't running, clutch kit didn't fit even after double checking all part numbers, VIN number, etc .

In looking around the net, all clutches I see look like the one we got and not the one that came out of the Jeep.

I may go insane.

I'm going to call Centerforce this afternoon to talk to them about a Centerforce II and the difference in my clutch vs. what all the documentation says I need.

My clutch has about 8 pins through the disc and all the pictures show four spring type things. I know I'm not mechanical but that's it. Also, it's smaller than the one we bought and tried this past weekend.

The only thing we can figure is we priced and purchased for an 03 Jeep TJ 2.4 L. Apparantly, that year the trannies were changed from a AX5 to a NVG something or the other.

We *think* that my tranny may be an AX5 from the year before (2002) because the jeep was made in Feb of 2003. I don't know how to really check that though.

Any advice? I scanned the actual disc in and can put it here but not right now, I'm at lunch at work and the file is home.
