Question, just replaced the timing chain and muffler system. I was told a bolt was missing from the maniflod by a another mechanic, it was not cracked off just missing. I went to the dealership and got a replacement bolt. The people that worked on my YJ told me they were able to put in the bolt, but the manifold caskett around the bolt was blownout. They said it would not effect anything and it would not hurt anything. I could replace the caskett down the road, the only noticeable deal was a sound when the engine was cold and once the engine heated up the metals would expand and I would not notice anything. The question I have is this going to hurt anything? Shouldn I replace it right away? I just bought this Jeep and I want everything right. Wiil this problem effect the performance? Please Help me out, am I just being anal or should I replace the casket right away to avoid any problems...Thanks.
