Is anyone running disc brake rearend? Having problem with brake pedal being soft...NO AIR IN THE LINES...Think it is the M/C..Do i need a different one than stock....By the way everything is new.........

What kind of rearend is it? I've been told by a few people who have put Ford 8.8" rearends in with disc brakes that they've had to install a master cylinder from an E-350.

|
You may need to remove the check valve ball from the master cylinder or proportioning valve. Remove the rear brake line and you'll see a metal seat with a ball behind it. Remove the seat with a self-tapping metal screw, remove the check ball, and reinsert the metal seat. Reattach the brake line and bleed.

yup.....what they said. I've researched that conversion for my TJ and I've seen answers similar to both of those all over the place.
