Road noise? What road noise?

Hi Jeepers,
I知 new to the Jeep, after thirty-five years of 4 WD Fords for my business where I swamp around locating native wetland flora. I just got tired of the 8-12 mpg and the big lumbering bodies, tires roaring so loud you had to scream to converse with others.
I really enjoy my 2005 X. I tried to get it as stripped as possible (interior) for the locations I need to run in but ordered everything in the drive train as extreme as I could. I would like some info on tires. I知 not a youngster any longer and I知 past using a ladder to get seated in the cockpit. I知 looking for the tallest tires (not wide) I can place on the vehicle without a lift kit. I use to run militaries on my earlier trucks but they have been unavailable for years. I知 running thirties now and would like to get a few more inches. All help greatly appreciated.

Check out the 32"x10.5" Super Swamper TSL Radial. It'll fit as long as you leave the swaybar connected, which it sounds like you will. There is also a 31"x9.5" TSL Radial but it's not as aggressive as the 32".

Oh ya, welcome to Jeepz.
