RE: 4 lo hard to get into

Hi guys.

My soft top has been taken off maybe 3 times in its entire life, but when taking the back window out last night, it wouldn't unzip! I looked at the zipper and saw about 5 teeth that were all messed up. The zipper wouldn't pass over it and I couldn't get the back window out at all. There's no fixing these teeth - they are beyond repair.
Does warranty cover repair on the zipper? How would it work........would they just remove the entire top and keep it while they repair it? Or would I have to leave my Jeep there?

Thanks guys, you are great. :)

RE: First JEEP stitches!!!

Warantee? I never had a vehicle with a warantee! I drive old piles of poop!

Seriously though, I had a side window that was all messed up and I just kept harpin on it with some pliers, dunno how bad yours are but mine are working fine now. Maybe take the top off so its easier to fix?

Oh and for the record, I make the piles of poop into golden dung that are envied by onlookers....

Hi-Ya Jenns04,

I cannot answer your warranty question, but the following old thread has a few tips on dealing with broken soft-top zippers:
