Why are you using stock lifters? I thought performance cams come with new lifters, mine did.

New lifters should have been installed with a new cam.

You dont want to use your old lifter on a new cam. They are already warn from your old cam. Get new ones or you may cause damage to the new cam.

i just got off the phone with them....gave the m the part numbers of the cam and springs i used...apparently my lifters are goin to be ok but the retainers for the springs are incorrect...so i had to order some new retainers...

i'm not sure how that is hindering my oil though...
