Modifications on gear for HEI

What am I in for with this swap? I've heard about people doing this but I'm not exactly sure what the pros and cons are and what I'll need to make it work. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I say the only thing the write up's dont tell you is to make new washers to hold the intake and exhaust together. The old ones will be way to small. I got a small piece of stock metal at home depot and fabricated my own with a cutting wheel and grinder. Second pay the extra money and get a good header. I bought the pacesetter and had to make a few extra mods. Had to grind down the intake so it didnt rest on the header creating pressure on the intake and not letting it seal. It also caused me to modify my powersteering pump bracket as well. Still dont bolt up to the intake. Need to weld on some extra metal and drill some new holes. Last the pipes on the pacesetter are designed to wrap around your oil pan and come out on the other side of the motor. Had to have a muffler shop modify the header pipes on the bottom and pipe it in for $150.00.
