Waggy front D44 into a YJ ?

I'm installing a Waggy D44 into my YJ with a SOA setup, stock spring + AAL. I noticed the Waggy stock steering is mounted on top of the steering arm, will there be any tierod/spring or draglink/spring interference throwing this axle in as-is?

BTW, cracked the diff cover on my Isuzu rear D44 w/discs and Woohoo, 4.10 gears. I was afraid it was the oddball 4.30, but I scored. At least now I may be able to sell the R&P when I go to 5.38 .

Thanks.

I think the steering will work just fine, but you will have to ream your pitman arm to fit the waggy drag link.

Are those axles the same WMS? Interesting if an Isuzu 44 is the same width as a Waggy 44.

Good luck man. Keep us posted.

Isuzu rear is close to the YJ D35 in width, about the same as a Waggy rear 44.

i just did that this summer. steering was fine, no interference. be weary of the pitman arm issue, you will need to ream it, I did mine with a dril, die grinde - and trial and error fitment. It wasnt the smartest or efficient way, but it worked. the tiny slop I have is probably due to that.
