4.0 head swap ?s

Hey all, havent visited much, been working, and well dont own a computer anymore...

anyway,
i spent half the day at a boneyard today, just looking, (hiding stuff i will pick up next time LOL) No dough today or tools... So I learned I can get a 4.0 head for $100 including intake & throttle body. The exhaust man. will cost another $50...

Anyway, as Im fooling around I realize I need alot more! Like the ECM, harness, several sensors --the list goes on.

All I want is the head, and intake. Id like to keep my weber - no fuel injection. (well sure I love MPI, but my wallet cant do it!)

So can I put a weber on a 4.0L manifold?

As far as I know, you won't need the ecm and all that jazz... That would only be if you were converting ot EFI

Your problem would be bolting it up, likely need a custom adapter. Look for '99+ instake manifolds as they provided the best performance.

Right.. any decent machine shop would be able to make something for you
