It is time to give my 95 YJ the 30,000 mile tune-up/check. I have to change the oil in the rear diff., how difficult is this? Do you just pull the bolt, drain and refill; or is there a special procedure I need to know about?

well i depends...i think you can drain it by using a suction pump to suck all the old fluid out but the best way would be to remove the cover...that way you could check everything out and make sure all the gears are ok and look for shavings, broken teeth etc. If you do that you will have to buy some gasket to put it back on though so you wont have any leaks.[addsig]
