Hey, Anyone out there know the exact location of the manual transmission drain and filler plugs? I have a cheap Chiltons or similar type book that states it is located on the passenger side towards the top of the transmission housing. Are they the square recessed (for ratchet extention) lookin plugs? Thanks this is for a 1993 wrangler 6cyl 4.0[addsig]

Yes, a 3/8" ratchet fits in the plug. High up on the pass. side of the tranny. Drain plug is center bottom, could either be plug with square hole for 3/8" ratchet, or a bolt for a large socket like 13/16" or something like that.[addsig]
