Crap, another noise!
Well, you may have seen my post in the wanted forum for an AX15 trans. Well that is because it is in the shop right now after it was making a loud ticking noise that is in sync with the RPMs of the jeep. It makes the loud ticking in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th. I can feel the ticking in my shifter too. Not good. I was hoping it was something to do with the clutch but if it's not happening in 4th then it may be the trans. The shop thinks so too so far, I will hear back from them today.
Anyway I was hoping that I would get some good news from my jeepz people saying the same thing happened to you, it was the clutch or something else reallly cheap. Anyone? Please? haha, I sure wish this wasn't my daily driver! Joop

The reason it ain't happening in fourth is because fourth is a direct shot from the engine to the tcase, it's a 1:1 ratio. My money is on the tranny. Sorry Joop

Yeah, it was the trans. It's now rebuilt, installing it and a new clutch tomorrow. Dang.
