what size engine

i got a cj engine in my cherokee, can someone tell me the size. it is a straight 6. or how do i tell from the markings?

how many spark plugs does it have. they will be on the passenger side of the engine.either 6 or 4 will have a single thick wire comeing off them and will be in a horizontal line down the side of the engine.

Most likely it's a 4.2L (258 c.i.d.) if it is a I6 from a CJ.

as i stated before it is a inline six, so therefore it must have six spark plugs.
but i guess you knew that from reading the post. the question is how do i tell if it is a 4.0 or a 4.2.
