engaging into 4 wheel drive

this is my 1st jeep , 1994 wrangler, manual. How do i shift into 4 wheel drive

Welcome to Jeepz.

You can shift into 4hi at any speed below 55mph, and you really have to slow down or stop to shift to 4lo. Just yank back on the transfer case lever when at the appropriate speed or stopped. Post here if you have any problems.
