I ordered a transmission/engine skidplate from Rusty's last week and it arrived on Monday. The skidplate bolts to a crossmember that uses the factory control arm bolts - the upper bolts on the lower control arms. I can't get the bolts to budge!! My Jeep is an '06 so they're not really corroded or rusted at all. I hosed it down with WD40 but still no luck. Any suggestions??
Next time try a better penetrating lubricant like PB Blaster or Liquid Wrench. They'll do more work in a shorter period of time than WD-40. I'd also have to agree with redrooster.... use an impact wrench
