90 wrangler 4.2 starts, after 5 sec. loses spark
I usally just hang around and read other jeepers problems that match mine but I have one I hav'nt seen. I have a 32/36 weber that seems to be a bit finiky to say the least. After I start my jeep it will run for 5 to 10 seconds and then just die. Originally I was thinking it was flooding out for some reason so I went through making sure I had the correct fuel press. through my regulator and all was fine. Then for grins I checked the spark after it died, no spark. most of the time it takes several hours before it will start up again and the rest of the times it takes a day or so. ( this sure makes it hard to turn it back into my main ride again). If anyone has any ideas on this I would like to hear them. Thanks.
P.S. what a kick but forum by the way.

Had much of the same problem once. Changed the coil and it solved the problem. Looses spark when it heats up. Good luck. Spiritree
