I got my engine and transmission. :)

Project is to stuff a 6.0L and 4L60 into 1992 YJ.

But now i have to figure out how to connect the electrical together.

The 6.0L originally had a 4L80E but cause of lenth i was advised to switch to 4L60E. The connectors are different between these.

I have seen an electrical adapter going from 4L60E to 4L80E but not the other way around.

Redrooster recomended Wait4Me Performance for reworking harness.

I spoke with them and it sounds good. They will program computer for the 4L60E and rework the harness for my YJ for cheap but he said he does not have time to rework the trans wiring part. I offered to pay more but guess they are too busy for custom stuff.

Any suggestions. I like their prices and probably will use them but what do i do about the trans wiring.

hey YJ, i was wondering how u hooked up the pcm and all the engine electrical. i have some sort of an idea but it doesnt seem to work out right in my jeep. i have a 5.7 and a 4l60e in my TJ

if you get the wiring schematic for the 4l60 and the 4l80 connector you should be able to tell which pin is for what and then you can cut and splice on the proper connector it may be kinda a pain tho
