1990 yj rear axle question
i have searched for ages and cannot find what i am looking for... i have a 1990 yj with a 4.2 and 5 spd. tranny. my question is what rear axle do i have?? i know it is a dana 35 but is it a c-clip axle??? i know some of the early yj's have the non c-clips but does anyone know the years??? also is my tranny the ax-15 and the t-case an np-231???? thanx for any help given....

Buy it, build it, break it, rinse and repeat!! 90 yj, 4.2, ax-15, camo, grant steering wheel, flipped license plate mount, kc daylighters, 4" lift, custom front and rear bumpers, herculiner, trimmed fender flairs, proline style 139 15x7 wheels, 33x12.50-15 baja claws, and mud; lots and lots of mud.

Should be a non c-clip axle, as c-clip axles began in '91.
Should be an AX15 tranny, which was introduced mid-year '89. Transfer case should be a NP231, found in every YJ.
