My trans has always been a weak point in my jeep its a 95 yj auto 4cly . I wheeled it about 2 weeks ago and had some problems then overheating and loss of power when i go from park to rev it wants to cut off and alot of vibration , if i go from drive back to rev its just vibrates no cutting off is this a cable or what . 163000 miles how hard would it be to take out and put a new trans in thanks .

Does the check engine light come on? A sensor or throttle body problem will cause the low idle between shifting and vibrations.

it did for a little when i was wheeling then it went off .

I played with throtle body cable and it is getting better but still wants to cut off some time
