UH-OH...red puddle!!

I've got a 97 Grand Cherokee that seems to be leaking from the weep hole between where the auto tranny and tranfer case bolt together, my question is whether this is the tranny seal leaking or the transfer case leaking?

if its a red puddle chances are good it's transmission fluid.

Most T cases also run ATF so it could be either of them.

Tranny seal, as the transfer case input goes into this seal. Could be either but tranny more likely.
