Oil filler cap
Does anyone know of a good brand of an oil filler cap that's on top of the valve cover. Everyone that I get from local stores always leak. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Oil filler cap
Yeah but depending on how long its been sitting up the the gasket will most likley be gone because thats what the problem has been. Not sealing properly.

Re: Oil filler cap
Sounds like your problem may be elsewhere, like too much crankcase pressure and/or blowby. Too much crankcase pressure will blow oil out the path of least resistance, like the oil fill cap, valve cover gasket, rear main, dipstick, etc. Make sure the PCV system is working correctly, and maybe consider a compression and leakdown test.

Re: Oil filler cap
oil filler cap does not have a seal, you have motor issues, do as BH suggested

Re: Oil filler cap
Yes, or collapsed, or the PCV valve clogged.
