Shackle length
Are the front shackles longer than the rear on a 89 YJ?

They're the same, 4" center to center of bolt.

Thanks for the replies. I checked mine today and the reason it appears longer is because it does not go through the frame so more of the bars are visible. Anyhow, the Jeep is sitting at a good height now so no need to lower the front now.
